Here are some important things you should know when playing the Cave:

• The Cave promotes original music only - NO COVERS!!
• We have a list of press contacts ready-made for you. Promote your show!
• You should send at least twelve flyers to the Cave with the date you are booked written on them. Send them to:

  Chapel Hill, NC 27516
• We have a PA. You should bring yourselves, your instruments, and your amps.
• Load in times:
    - Early shows: any time after 5:00 p.m.
    - Late shows: 9:30 p.m.
• Set times and set lengths vary depending on the night, the crowd, how many bands are playing, etc. Please show up at load in time, and it'll all get worked out then.
• Here's the deal:
  the show will be a pass-the-hat affair, unless you get press in the Independent Weekly or play with a local draw. If you get press or play with a local draw, we'll throw $5 on the door and the artist(s) get 80%. You also get soda and water on us.
• The Chapel Hill University Inn gives a band discount if you're on the road.
